University of Ottawa and faculty association approve new collective agreement

The University of Ottawa is pleased to announce that a new collective agreement has been approved by the University’s Board of Governors and ratified by members of the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO).

The two-year agreement is retroactive to May 1, 2016 and expires April 30, 2018. 

The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors approved the agreement on behalf of the board on May 10 and members of APUO voted in favour of the deal on May 9.

“This achievement is the result of efforts put forth by all parties, and I want to thank and congratulate everybody,” said Allan Rock, president and vice-chancellor of the University.
