Need an expert? Toxic chemicals used in smartphones escape into environment

Researchers have established that chemicals used in the manufacturing of smartphones, televisions and computer monitors are potentially toxic and pose a risk to our health.

These products are found in nearly half of the dust samples collected by the research team, suggesting that they are released by the devices during their use.
