The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law invites members of the media to attend a Day of solidarity on Parliament Hill on Wednesday, February 8 at 2 p.m.
Students, professors and the community will gather to promote human solidarity, universality and togetherness in the wake of the Quebec City attack and recent U.S. travel restrictions.

“During these tough times, law students and law schools must come together and stand accountable in the facilitation of justice,” says Nasser Chahbar, J.D. Candidate at the Faculty of Law. “We must use this stage to encourage the furtherance of peace and understanding within our culturally and religiously diverse society.”
Law students and professors across the country will participate in the Day of solidarity on their respective campuses.
