Science Minister Kirsty Duncan to deliver keynote address at uOttawa

The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will deliver a keynote address at the 6th Annual Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) Summit held at the University of Ottawa.

At the summit, Minister Duncan will talk about Canada’s plan to support clean technology research and development to help create jobs and move to a sustainable economy.

The CERC Summit brings together the CERC holders from across Canada. Researchers, including professor Robert W. Boyd, world leader in quantum optics and photonics, will share the most recent advances of their research programs with the greater public. For this iteration of the CERC Summit, we have adopted the theme of Science and Society.
