MEDIA ADVISORY: Explore diversity and innovation through tinkering and experimenting at OMMIC 2017

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Engineering invites members of the media to attend the Ontario Makers and Mentors Innovation Conference 2017, where makers, entrepreneurs, hobbyists and students will get to meet and learn about the maker movement and its societal impact. Participants will explore topics such as redesigning education systems to raise fulfilled global citizens, coding to build autonomous robots, how 3D printing can be used in medicine and how robots can help the planet, learn the ropes of laser cutting, 3D printing and compete for the Student Innovative Design Awards.
